The Playford Trust in partnership with Built, offers a scholarship to a student commencing Honours in civil, structural, and construction engineering, at one of South Australia’s three public universities. The scholarship is valued at $10,000.
Proudly Australian and privately owned since 1998, Built has grown to be a national diversified general contractor and one of Australia’s largest private construction groups. The company has built its reputation on being the most responsive, client focused partner in the industry with extensive tier one and large corporation experience.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertake a work placement with the company. The aim of the placement is to help the student develop skills and knowledge and enhance their industry experience. They will work on challenging and interesting projects in a collaborative environment. Built may also offer an internship. The type of work to be undertaken – and level of commitment – will be negotiated between the successful student and Built.
We recommend you begin your application as soon as possible and complete as much as you can this year. This allows the Trust to give your name to Built early.

Selection Criteria
The Trust will consider nominations from students studying at one of the three South Australian universities, and reserves the right to accept or reject nominations.
Built and the Playford Trust will jointly make the final selection.
