The Artificial Intelligence and Image Analysis Research Group of the School of Science and Engineering, Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia has a range of PhD scholarships available. The successful applicants must have solid background in machine learning in image analysis, with an emphasis on deep learning. Multiple PhD projects are available.
Research topics:
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr Gobert Lee and Dr Mariusz Bajger and will collaborate with academic and industrial/clinical collaborators. The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team. Demonstration of good communication and interpersonal skills is essential.

Selection will be made by the project lead.
Your EOI should include:
(1) A cover letter outlining your suitability for the project (your research interest and relevant research skills, experience, and publications)
(2) A curriculum vitae (including education, employment history, research experience and publications);
(3) Academic transcripts; and
(4) Contact details of two academic referees (and additional professional referees if any)
