A generous donation by Barbara Reeves Hughes in memory of her dear friend the late Margaret Fay Fuller has enabled the establishment of an endowed scholarship called the Margaret Fay Fuller Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Cancer Research.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support postgraduate research in any area of cancer research.
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. One scholarship to the value of $5,000 will be available to be awarded annually to students enrolled on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The scholarship will be payable as a stipend top-up to research higher degree students in receipt of a postgraduate research award.
