Flinders University 2022 Peter Bailie Scholarship for Indigenous Students in the Health Sciences

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to Indigenous students undertaking an undergraduate course in Health Sciences at Flinders University.

About Flinders University

Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Peter Bailie Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of Peter Bailie Scholarship

Each scholarship will have a value of $5000 paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester.

Requirements for Peter Bailie Scholarship Qualification

Applicants for the scholarship must:

• be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
• identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
• be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived; and
• be enrolled in the third year of a health related course within the College of Medicine and Public Health or the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Peter Bailie Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit/financial need. Scholarship selection will be made in accordance with approved University procedures.
