The scholarship is a partial scholarship which only covers tuition and accommodation costs. Beneficiaries will be required to cover a one-time payment for other municipal and service charges. These charges can be viewed on the university’s website under the section detailing the Tech-U Ibadan School Fees Schedule.
This financial assistance is extended annually to new entrants through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), and direct entry routes. Importantly, it can be renewed each year, provided the beneficiary maintains satisfactory academic performance throughout the course of study.
The scholarship amounts to a substantial reduction in the total educational expenses, to the tune of #700,000.
