Soroptimist International is a service club for professional women. It aims at advancing women all over the world and inspiring them to achieve their best. Ilona Takacs was a life member of the Ballarat club, President four times, regional President twice and served on the International Board. This scholarship honours her dedication as a Soroptimist and teacher of mathematics and physics.

Aim and Benefits of Federation University, Australia Masters Scholarship

Student will receive $500 to be paid as one instalment. $500 after the first census date.

Requirements for Federation University, Australia Masters Scholarship Qualification

• New/commencing  student
• Domestic or international student
• Female student undertaking studies in science, mathematics or physics
• Undertaking study at bachelor; honours; or postgraduate level (excluding research degrees)
• Undertaking study at Mount Helen Campus
• Active and enrolled for the full year post census date.
• Can be full-time or part-time.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Federation University, Australia Masters Scholarship

• Active and enrolled for the full year post census date.
• Students who defer their offer or take a leave of absence will forfeit their award.
• Can be full-time or part-time.
• Awardees are required to attend the Foundation event at the scholarship-specified campus. 
• Students are to maintain current contact details. If you cannot be contacted by mail, email or telephone in relation to this scholarship, your scholarship may be terminated.
