The PhD positions are fully funded for four years (extendable) with a competitive salary according to ETH standards.
We are looking for exceptional candidates with an M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Material Science or related area and a strong background in Polymer Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
Previous experience and knowledge in ATRP, RAFT, emulsion polymerization, organic synthesis, and polymer characterization is an advantage but not a must.
Above all, candidates should be highly passionate about science and research, self-motivated, curious, creative and enthusiastic in what they do, as well as have strong team spirit, excellent critical thinking and other skills, and advanced knowledge of written and spoken English.
