Durham University (legally the University of Durham) is a collegiate public research university in Durham, North East England, with a second campus in nearby Stockton-on-Tees. It was founded by an Act of Parliament in 1832 and granted a Royal Charter in 1837. Applicant must have:
Be the first generation in your immediate family to attend University
Be from a background currently underrepresented in Computer Science
Preference will be given to applicants from the North East of England - defined as having a postcode beginning with DH, DL, NE, SR or TS.
Selection process
Submit the following by the scholarship deadline of 15th April 2025
A completed scholarship application form
Provide a copy of your Student Finance letter confirming the amount of maintenance loan you will receive to [email protected] If you do not have this information by the scholarship deadline please provide it as soon as you receive it from Student Finance England.
