About Charles Darwin University

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is an Australian public university with about 22,083 students as of 2011. It was established in 2003 after the merger of Northern Territory University (NTU) of Darwin, the Menzies School of Health Research and Centralian College of Alice Springs and it was named after Charles Darwin, the celebrated English naturalist.

Aim and Benefits of Charles Darwin University Bachelor

The scholarships applies to an undergraduate coursework degree covering 25% of the tuition fee for the first year of study and 10% in subsequent years.

Requirements for Charles Darwin University Bachelor Qualification

• Applicant must apply to commence study in S1 2021.
• Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course.
• Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 70% in their highest completed qualification.
• Applicant must be an international student on a student visa.
• Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency.

There are two methods of applying, either as a direct applicant using MyNextCourse or via one of the Tertiary Admission Centres: – SATAC or UAC. The information below will help you recognise which one applies to you.

If you have completed, or are about to finish one of the following at CDU, you can apply through MyNextCourse:

• Certificate IV or above
• Tertiary Enabling Program (excluding TEP1) or Preparation for Tertiary Success (PTS)
• Undergraduate degree

If you do not meet any of the above pathways, you will need to apply through SATAC.

1. Explore SATAC Course Search

All the information in regards to entry requirements, selection processes and dates are available through the SATAC website.

2. Register with SATAC

The next step is to get your application underway registering as an undergraduate applicant.

 SATAC will send you an acknowledgement email with a link to access your online application.

3. Complete your application

Commence your application, remembering to save your progress after each section.

Although SATAC can access most of your Australian study records, it is most helpful to upload your relevant registration, VET and overseas qualifications at the time of application. SATAC may still contact you for further information.

4. Accept and enrol

If your application is successful, you'll receive your offer via email from SATAC. CDU will email you shortly after with important enrolment and orientation information.
