Carrington Youth Fellowship 2023 Entrepreneurship Program for Student Entrepreneurs

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative Entrepreneurship Program 2023 aimed at equipping student entrepreneurs in tertiary institutions with the skills, knowledge, and network to adapt to the changing business environment, innovate, and scale business towards promoting youth employment and economic growth.

The Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative, CYFI, is a dynamic youth-based initiative launched in 2011 by the U.S. Consulate General, Lagos. The aim of the program is to empower our members and young Nigerians with proactive engagement, training, collaboration and networking opportunities that promote careers development, and build organizations, and drive active citizenry.

About Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI)

The Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) seeks to develop a select group of young Nigerians into ethical and impactful leaders by connecting them with mentorship, networking, training and funding opportunities over the course of an intensive fellowship year. The CYFI fellowship is built around year-long social innovation projects that are designed by fellows and supported by the U.S. Consulate and private partners. Requirements for Entrepreneurship Program for Student Entrepreneurs Qualification

Applicants must be a/an:

• Students in tertiary institutions
• Not more than 18 - 35 years
• Available to commit 3-4 hours weekly to the program from August to November
• Available to students in tertiary institutions in Lagos State only

• June 30: Applications Closes
• July 14: Semi-finalists Notified
• July 28: Finalists Notified
