In the spirit of our guiding philosophy of Kyosei – living and working together for the common good – over the last 18 years, Canon Oceania has supported over 110 schools, not-for-profits and community groups with over $550,000 in monetary and product support.
This year, the Canon Oceania Grants Program returns to support four more worthy organisations or individuals to further their impact, including a new category dedicated to contributing to positive outcomes for Australia’s First Nations peoples.

Community Grant Valued at $5,000. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon product valued up to $2,500.
Education Grant Valued at $5,000. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon product valued up to $2,500.
Environmental Grant Valued at $5,000. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon product valued up to $2,500.
First Nations Grant Valued at $5,000. The winner will receive $2,500 cash and Canon product to the value of up to $2,500.
Community Grant: Open to any project or organisation that has a positive impact on communities, cultural and societal causes.
Education Grant: Open to any project run by a primary, secondary, or tertiary school/educational institution.
Environmental Grant: Open to any project that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community.
First Nations Grant: New for 2024, our First Nations Grant is open to any project or organisation that will have a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or community.
Continuing our process from last year, our judges will select the top three entries in each category, which will then go through to a public vote, so our wider Canon community can have their say! The top three finalists will be selected based on the environmental and social merits of their organisation, as well as the importance of Canon technology in ensuring their initiative’s success.
Applications are open from 12 June 2024 and will close at 11:59pm AEST Sunday 28 July 2024.
