Ball State University, commonly referred to as Ball State or BSU, is a public coeducational research university in Muncie, Indiana, United States, with two satellite facilities in Fishers and Indianapolis. On July 25, 1917, the Ball brothers, industrialists and founders of the Ball Corporation, acquired the foreclosed Indiana Normal Institute for $35,100 and gifted the school and surrounding land to the State of Indiana. Successful applicants of the Ball State International Recognition Scholarship, 2021-22 will receive scholarship value of $2,000 a year for a four-year total of $8,000.
Renewal of the Scholarship:
Applicants must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 at the end of the spring semester of any academic year to retain the scholarship.
