About Budapest Metropolitan University

Budapest College of Communication was established in 2000, with state accreditation. It has provided higher educational, adult educational and advanced vocational training courses of a high international and European Union standard in the field of applied communication and business sciences since 2001.

Aim and Benefits of Budapest Metropolitan University Undergraduate Scholarship

The winners of the Excellence Scholarship are eligible to get 500 EUR discount/semester (1000 EUR discount/year).

The winners of the Excellence Scholarship are also eligible to receive the discount during the rest of their studies subject to the following conditions:

• Oustanding study performance
• They fulfill an internship of 60 hours/ semester at one of the administrative offices of METU, starting from the second semester. The tasks may include: sales and marketing tasks, representation on higher education fairs, organizing student events etc.

Requirements for Budapest Metropolitan University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• English level min. C1
• Excellent performance at the Skype interview during the application process
• In case Math test is needed, the applicant should reach min 80%
• In case of Art and Design Programs, the professors should give a high rating for the design portfolio (min. 30/35)
• High-school GPA and grades min. 80% e.g.:

1. SAT 1280/1600
2. IB 6/7
3. Cambridge IGCSE min. 2 A or 4 AS levels
4. We also accept all other national / international High-school diplomas; the GPA always has to be above 80%

Application Deadline

How to Apply

You have to go through the normal application procedure at apply.metropolitan.hu. It’s not necessary to apply to the scholarship separately, the Admission Committee will automatically choose and award the most excellent applicants.
