Aim and Benefits of Bachelors

Access Edinburgh Scholarship 2021 offers the following:

• Care experienced or estranged students - Award of GBP 5,000 per year
• Household income below GBP 20,999 - Award of GBP 3,000 per year
• Household income GBP 21,000 - GBP 23,999 - Award of GBP 2,000 per year
• Household income GBP 24,000 - GBP 33,999 - Award of GBP 1,000 per year

All students will be paid in two installments each year: once in semester 1 by the end of October, and once in semester 2 by the end of January. The payment will be paid directly to the bank details you have provided.

Requirements for Bachelors Qualification

• The Access Edinburgh Scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students beginning their studies in 2021, who live in the UK, and receive funding from SAAS or Student Finance England, Wales, or Northern Ireland.

How to Apply

There’s no separate application.

When you apply for funding from SAAS or Student Finance England, Wales or Northern Ireland, tick the box to agree to share your household income figure with the University. For new students, we will begin to access household income information from August each year and notify you with an entitlement letter confirming your award, payment dates and a request to securely provide your bank details by the start of the semester.
