The College of Business, Government and Law has established the Indigenous Research Honours Scholarship to promote reconciliation by furthering understanding and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, knowledge and rights through related research projects.
The scholarships are funded by the College of Business, Government and Law and will continue whilst there is sufficient funding.
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. Each scholarship will have a value of $5000 which will be paid in equal instalments of $2,500 after the census date of each semester. The number of scholarships will depend on the funding available.
